Goal Setting
Goal Setting is a vital component of every coaching session. Setting specific, measurable, realistic and timed goals can improve every aspect of a person's life. Setting goals is a great way to increase motivation and achieve positive life changes. Having great goals helps to focus attention on the things that are really important. It is a vision of how life could be, a glimpse into a brighter future. People tend to increase the amount of time and effort spent on activities, and develop effective strategies when they have specific goals. Goals can be short, medium or long term and can be individual or collective. Typical client goals include; improving fitness, quitting smoking, getting a promotion or changing careers, completing a diploma or degree, reducing conflict or making friends, learning a musical instrument or new sport, reducing debt and improving finances. Goals are most successful when they are based on our values. Our Mentors will walk you through some great coaching techniques to help your clients achieve their goals.
