Terms and Conditions
All users (Members and/or Mentors) of 7 Minute MENTOR ("7mM") agree to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein.
Code of Conduct
As a member of 7 Minute MENTOR (“7mM”), you pledge to uphold a certain code of conduct:
- Conduct yourself with professional integrity at all times when using the resources of 7mM.
- Only use the resources of 7mM that you have received and paid for from the 7mM website.
- Do not unlawfully reproduce, disseminate, distribute or sell any resources acquired from 7mM, without express prior written consent from the administrator of 7mM.
- Recognize and respect the work and intellectual property of the 7 Minute Mentors and only claim ownership of your own material. Yopu understand that violating this standard may leave you subject to legal remedy by a third party.
- Refrain from unlawful discrimination including age, race, gender orientation, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, national origin or disability when using the coaching resources of 7mM.
- Ensure all verbal and written statements about what you offer as a coach are true and accurate, including accurately identifying your coaching qualifications, expertise, experience, training, certifications and professional credentials.
- Strive at all times to recognize any personal issues that may impair, conflict with or interfere with your coaching performance or your professional coaching relationships. If deemed necessary, promptly seek the relevant professional assistance and determine the action to be taken, including whether it is appropriate to suspend or terminate coaching relationship(s) whenever the facts and circumstances necessitate.
- Maintain, store and dispose of any records, including electronic files and communications, created during coaching engagements in a manner that promotes confidentiality, security and privacy and complies with any applicable laws and agreements.
- Seek to be conscious of any conflict or potential conflict of interest, openly disclose any such conflict and offer to remove and remedy when a conflict arises.
- Speak truthfully to clients, prospective clients or sponsors about the potential value of the coaching process.
- Carefully explain and strive to ensure that, prior to or at the initial meeting, coaching clients and sponsor(s) understand the nature of coaching, the nature and limits of confidentiality, financial arrangements, and any other terms of the coaching agreement.
- Have a clear coaching service agreement with all clients and sponsor(s) before beginning the coaching relationship and honour this agreement. The agreement should include the roles, responsibilities and rights of all parties involved.
- Be aware of and set clear, appropriate and culturally sensitive boundaries governing interactions, physical or otherwise, that may arise with clients or sponsor(s).
- Avoid any inappropriate physical or romantic relationship with clients or sponsor(s). Further, be alert to the possibility of any potential inappropriate intimacy among any parties involved in the coaching relationship, including any support staff and/or assistants and take the appropriate action to address the issue or cancel the engagement in order to provide a safe environment overall.
- Respect the client’s right to terminate the coaching relationship at any point during the process, subject to the provisions of the coaching agreement. Remain alert to indications that there is a shift in the value received from the coaching relationship and be prepared to refer the client to another coach if required.
- Maintain the strictest levels of confidentiality with all client and sponsor information unless otherwise required by law.
- Have a clear agreement about how coaching information will be exchanged among coach, client and sponsor.
- Commit to the need for continued and ongoing development of professional skills.

Additional obligations of Mentors
Any Mentor who contributes a coaching module for sale on 7mM must ensure that their module is a proven coaching technique recorded in their own voice using their own words. Each contributing Mentor ("CM") must also submit a short biography of no more than 300 words which will be used as their 7mM profile.
Each Mentor will enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with 7mM. The MoU will list in greater detail the obligations of both parties and will be sent seperately during processing of new Mentors.
