7 Minute MENTOR is a collaborative, web-based training resource designed specifically for Life-Coaches to improve their practical coaching skills by providing effective, efficient and inexpensive training in the coaching of specific client issues.
Experienced Life-Coaches are able to contribute and share their proven coaching techniques with other Life-Coaches via the 7 Minute MENTOR platform. In doing so they can create a passive income, improve their reputation and brand, increase their coaching network and, generate new mentoring clients.
All Life-Coaches benefit from learning new coaching techniques. In particular, transitioning Life-Coaches (i.e. new coaches, part-time coaches and students of coaching) will be able to learn new and proven coaching methods from more experienced coaches. However, 7 Minute MENTOR also caters for the more experienced Life-Coach, perhaps wanting to acquire additional skills and/or keep abreast of different coaching techniques.
7 Minute MENTOR privides coaching techniques via downloadable coaching modules for a variety of client specific issues. Each of these modules consists of a proven coaching technique in the form of an audio download, written transcript and coaching crib-sheet for a specific client issue. Each module has been designed to provide a succinct stand-alone coaching session for that specific issue.
From the home page menu you can search for a specific issue or a specific Mentor. Once you have decided what you are interested in, you can listen to a free sample of that Mentor's audio download. Prior to purchase, you need to register as a 7 Minute MENTOR member. You can add as many modules to your shopping cart as you wish. You can pay via credit card or PAYPAL. The payment process is encrypted and secure.
Once you have registered as a member of 7 Minute MENTOR, you will be able to purchase as many coaching modules as you like.
The price of each module (which includes an audio download, written transcript and coaching crib-sheet) is listed seperately for each coaching issue. Sometimes, discounts, coupons and free offers will be made available as part of the marketing and promotional activities of 7 Minute MENTOR. However, most modules will be offered at extremely competitive prices and should be no more than the equivalent of USD 10 each, providing an immediate ROI.
Yes. In order to purchase any module via 7 Minute MENTOR, you must first register and agree to our terms and conditions including our coaching code of conduct. This ensures ethical guidelines are maintained and provides the administrators of the site with an overview of all members and Mentors.
You can find out everything you need to know about becoming a contributing Mentor by clicking on the "Mentors" tab on the home page. Mentors are paid for each module downloaded.
Every coaching technique that is offered on 7 Minute MENTOR has been proven (i.e. tried and tested) by the responsible Mentor. However, each client is an individual and as such, will respond differently to every coaching session. Some will respond better than others. There is never, nor can there ever be, a guarantee of success when coaching. Much will depend on the skill-set of the coach, their relationship with the client, and the client's own personal preferences, representational system, beliefs and circumstances.
If a sufficient degree of success is not achieved using any particular coaching technique offered by 7 Minute MENTOR, please contact us with your constructive feedback and we will endeavour to send you an alternative coaching technique provided by another Mentor.
Yes. There are certain issues/circumstances/activities which are beyond the scope of Life-Coaching. Life-Coaching is not therapy. Life-Coaches are not psychologists or medical practitioners. You do not have to coach every client who seeks your help. Indeed, you have an ethical and professional duty to know when Life-Coaching is not suitable. When a client presents with a certain issue or behaviour, you must recognise if it is beyond the scope of Life-Coaching. For example, mental health issues, abuse, safety concerns, criminal activity, coaching of minors, suicidal tendencies etc. All of these issues will require referral to the relevant professional authorities including medical practitioners, psychologists and counsellors, and in some instances to law enforcement agencies.
7 Minute MENTOR is a collaborative web-based resource where fees generated from the sale of coaching modules (i.e. audio files, transcripts and crib-sheets) are largely refunded to the contributing Mentors. It was founded in 2017 and is wholly owned by DAISY FT Pty. Ltd.
